A dynamic Brooklyn-based non-profit is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Executive Director. This role will include a wide range of complex, confidential and administrative support duties including coordination and management of executive scheduling, preparation and organization of communication materials, supporting board meetings and the preparation of board materials, liaising with clients, external partners such as funders or elected officials, and organizing special events.
The dynamic nature of this role requires that the ideal candidate have exemplary time management skills and the ability to identify and anticipate the Executive Director’s needs. The role must interact seamlessly and with a professional demeanor across a broad range of individuals including members of the Senior Management Team, Board of Directors, Public Officials and Funders. To perform this job successfully, the individual is expected to handle highly sensitive and confidential institutional information while exercising professionalism and discretion.
