3Z Brands in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Quality Control (QC) Inspector to join our team. The QC Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all mattresses meet the company’s high-quality standards, ensuring they are durable, safe, and comfortable. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, experience in manufacturing environments, and a passion for delivering products of the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inspections of finished mattresses to verify they meet the required specifications for size, firmness, stitching, fabric, and overall quality.
- Inspect incoming raw materials (foams, springs, fabrics, etc.) to ensure they meet the quality standards before being used in production.
- Conduct various tests on the mattresses, including durability, firmness, support, and comfort testing, to ensure product performance.
- Identify any defects or issues in the manufacturing process and document them. Work with production teams to resolve problems and prevent reoccurrence.
- Use measuring tools and equipment to confirm product consistency, such as mattress size, weight, and construction standards.
- Ensure that all products meet safety regulations and certifications, such as fire safety standards and any other applicable industry guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results, providing detailed feedback to management on quality trends or potential areas for improvement.
- Work closely with production teams to communicate quality standards and help implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Assist in training new employees on quality control procedures and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training in quality control or manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Proven experience in a quality control or inspection role, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and quality control equipment.
- Understanding safety regulations and quality standards in the.

- Physical ability to lift, move, and inspect large products when necessary.
