- Maintains professional competence through in-service education and self-selected professional books and instructional materials.

- Orders instructional supplies and materials.
- Participates in curriculum development programs, faculty committees and student activity sponsorship as required.
- Attends meetings and training sessions as required.

Position Purpose
Under the general supervision of the School Principal, to develop students' skills and competence in one or more fields of science, including general science, earth science, biology, physiology, chemistry, and physics; develops students skills and abilities in scientific methods and problem-solving, as well as an understanding of the application of science in the solution of practical problems.
Essential Functions
Qualifications: State Certification as a Science Teacher or as required for position. Previous online teaching experience is preferred.
Duty Days: 197 duty day, 8 paid holidays
Pay and Benefits: $45,008.00/year- $98,396.00/year, based on education and experience
