The Brooklyn Center Community School (BCCS) District seeks applicants to join our team as a STEP / LEAP Activities Instructor. STEP / LEAP Activities Instructors are responsible for leading groups of up to 20 youth in high-quality enrichment activities in such areas as youth leadership, art, music, physical activity, entrepreneurship, etc.
BCCS is looking for applicants driven to uphold our Mission : To become a justice-center school community who fuels the unique genius of each student.

Hours will vary depending on availability and program schedule and will be determined with Out of School Time (OST) Leads and Community Schools Site Coordinators.STEP runs most Mondays through Thursdays- 3pm-4 : 30pmLEAP runs most Mondays through Thursdays- 4pm -5 : 30pmDates : September 16, 2024 - May 24, 2025Pay : $25.00 / hr
Ideal candidateswill possess the skills to : build genuine relationships with students, encourage social / emotional learning through mentorship, thoughfully plan and implement impactful activities, set boundaries and address behavior concerns with students.
