What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fee-for-Service Social Worker position at Brooklyn Center for Psychotherapy?
The Brooklyn Center for Psychotherapy is an Outpatient Mental Health Center located in Park Slope, Brooklyn that is known for providing the highest quality of care while treating each and every patient with the kindness and respect they deserve.
We are currently working using a hybrid method based on the needs of the clinicians and the patients.
We are currently seeking multiple fee-for-service Psychologists / LMSW / LCSW / LMHC's to provide individual therapy to an ethnically and culturally diverse population of children, adolescent, and adults. These candidates must have a minimum of 2 / 3 years experience post degree.
Seeing children ages 9-18 a plus!
These individuals shall maintain clinical records in accordance with New York State Office of Mental Health standards and complete all necessary documentation required. The Center utilizes an EMR for all recordkeeping.
Weekly Supervision is provided.
Qualifications and Skills
- Master's Degree in Social Work or Psychology
- Licensure required - Valid NYS LMSW / LCSW / Pys.D.
- Experience working in an environment that provides Individual / Group Therapy
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Spanish fluency a plus
- Sensitivity to cultural, religious, racial, disability, and gender issues
- Ability to work on Saturdays (9AM-5PM) requested.
