- Directs overall policies and goals for the Social Services Department
- Responsible for assessments, care planning, and resident adjustment support
- Supervises department staff
- Ensures discharge planning at admission
- Participates in occasional community outreach
- Familiar with various concepts, practices, and procedures
- Exercises extensive creativity and latitude
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and achieve goals
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of management experience in long-term care settings
- LSW-MSW degree required
- Knowledge of applicable state and federal guidelines
- Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills
