What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Toddler Teacher - French position at Brooklyn Global Prep?
Brooklyn Global Prep is looking for an experienced infant/toddler teacher. The candidate should have demonstrated experience working with newborn children to 2 years old.
The successful candidate will:
- Lead a classroom (infants or young toddlers) in a fun and engaging way using a variety of hands on approaches to learning,
- Support with the cycles of care related to infant and young toddler care including feeding, napping, changing, soothing children and more,
- Able to manage multiple infants at once prioritizing safety and cleanliness,
- Implement an age appropriate curriculum,
- Ensure city and state compliance at all times,
- Additional duties as needed for this role.
Position Qualifications & Requirements:
- French speaking required,
- At least 3-5 years of experience working directly with infants (under 1 years old),
- Have experience changing diapers, feeding, soothing, and caring for young children, etc...
- Ability to meet physical requirements of position which include lifting children, year-round daily physical activities, and more,
- CDA preferred but not required,
- Certifications in CPR, First Aid and Mental Health are preferred but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
