Summary:
Contributes to the work of the MetroHealth communications team as it endeavors to tell the story and advance the goals of the MetroHealth System (MHS) to internal and external audiences. Produces high-quality content on deadline for a variety of audiences and platforms that is strong, clear, and precise. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree plus two years relevant experience or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience with professional writing and correspondence with a focus on business and outreach activities.
- Knowledge of and proficiency with various social media platforms
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, research, and evaluation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Ability to work under pressure with patience, good humor and teamwork.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to perform complex tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree
- Working knowledge of Cuyahoga County- it’s residents, issues and communities.
- Experience supporting senior executives.
- Project management skills.
