We’re looking for a well organized Bookkeeper to work directly with the President and CFO on finalizing BKLA’s revenue projections, accounts payable & receivable and financial planning (profits & losses, budgets and forecasting). This individual will be responsible for balancing our bank accounts, preparing sales tax returns, managing financial data and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Creating financial statements and general bookkeeping/accounting principles
- Finalize P&L and bank reconciliation (review, confirm, clear, and complete)
- Involved with A/P, A/R, collections and accurate coding for payroll
- Loan reconciliation
- Revenue forecasting and budget management
- Data management, invoicing, payables and receivables
- Entry into QuickBooks and Excel spreadsheets (pivot tables, v-Lookup feature)
- Experience using accounting principles
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 3 years accounting operations within the fitness, health & wellness or education industry (a plus)
- Experience with ABC financial management software (a plus)
- Reconcile cash register and cross reference receipts
- Demonstrate leadership and problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to resolve conflict with productive outcomes
- Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple task simultaneously, make decisions quickly and problem solve
- Experience with Quickbooks, MS Office, Google suite, and CRM (a plus)
- Mature, self starter who takes initiative with minimal direction or supervision
- Exceptional attention to details, written/verbal communication skills
- College degree in (accounting, finance, or business management) preferred or equivalent years of experience
