Pay Range: $18-$20 per hour, based on experience
We are excited to announce the upcoming opening of The Brookmere Hotel and Regent Restaurant & Bar in December 2024. Nestled on a 10-acre site formerly known as Longfellows Hotel, Restaurant, and Conference Center, our new 88-room upper-upscale hotel is just a mile from the Saratoga Racetrack and adjacent to the Saratoga National Golf Course. This development includes a full-service restaurant and bar with a seasonal outdoor porch, a luxurious spa, a banquet facility with 6,000 sq.ft. of meeting and event space, and private access to Lake Lonely.
We Need: An organized, self-motivated Maintenance Technician to ensure our beautiful new property remains operational and inviting. Your role will be crucial in managing and maintaining the flawless condition of our hotel and its facilities.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Promptly addressing guest issues and managing a responsive complaint program.
- Maintaining all electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and more.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintaining necessary permits and licenses.
- Managing budgets, equipment purchases, service contracts, and third-party tradesmen efficiently.
- Leading and developing our maintenance team to achieve top performance and department goals.
- Developing and maintaining preventive maintenance programs for all hotel facilities.
Experience and Skills:
Experience and Skills:
- 3 Years Engineering/Maintenance experience, hotel environment highly preferred
- Previous professional HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or Construction experience a plus
- Familiar with web-based maintenance work order programs a plus
- Some Microsoft Office skills required, including experience with Outlook (email), Word, and Excel
- Proven communication, leadership and management skills
- Ability and willingness to be on-call 24/7 for hotel emergencies
- Clean work habits with great attention to detail
- Able to furnish a valid driver’s license
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively while maintaining calmness, composure, and hospitality
- May be subject to successful completion of background check and/or DMV check.
