Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled A/V Support Specialist to provide comprehensive support for video conferencing and public address systems at the Montgomery and Tuskegee VA campuses. This role requires a proactive approach to managing multimedia equipment, ensuring optimal performance, and providing technical support to VA staff.
Work Hours
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, excluding federal holidays.
Duties
- Provide phone and on-site support for video conferencing equipment in various conference rooms and the public address system at the VA Tuskegee campus.
- Guarantee a 4-hour initial phone response time and next business day on-site response for incident resolution.
- Conduct annual on-site training for staff on audio-video system operations.
- Verify system functionality, troubleshoot issues, and perform maintenance checks.
- Collaborate with VA personnel to address network-related issues affecting video conferencing systems.
