Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team in supporting the Family Advocacy Program (FAP) at Fort Eisenhower. The FAP is a community-based prevention program aimed at preventing child and domestic maltreatment through educational initiatives targeted at Service Members and their families.
Work Hours: 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Family Advocacy Program.
- Develop and deliver prevention education programs, classes, workshops, and activities.
- Operate computer programs and manage data collection and input into the Army Family Web Portal (AFWP) tracking system.
- Establish and maintain files in accordance with the Army Record Information Management System (ARIMS).
- Handle routine telephone calls, provide general information, and take messages.
- Manage the issuance of training materials from the FAP resource library.
- Update and maintain lists of installation commanders quarterly.
- Create and input data into databases for tracking FAP trainings and command briefings.
- Collect and analyze data from FAP needs assessments monthly.
- Prepare graphics and reports to support collected data.
- Schedule briefings and meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes.
- Assist in obtaining quotes for purchases and maintaining packing slips and invoices.
- Provide customer service, assess needs, and ensure completion of pertinent documents.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year experience in a military or civilian social service agency, or as a military Family Member.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
- Basic computer troubleshooting skills and experience with video conferencing systems.
- Valid unrestricted motor vehicle license.
- Knowledge of ACS programs is preferred.
- Must be able to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background check.
