Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests at our aquatic facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong swimming skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe environment for all patrons while providing excellent guest services.
Duties
- Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents.
- Perform rescues and administer first aid and CPR as needed.
- Conduct regular safety checks of the pool area and equipment.
- Assist with pool cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure cleanliness.
- Provide exceptional guest services by answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Participate in regular training sessions to maintain skills and certifications.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks related to pool maintenance or equipment management.
Qualifications
- Current Lifeguard certification is required.
- CPR and First Aid certifications are essential.
- Strong swimming ability with knowledge of water safety practices.
- Experience in pool cleaning and maintenance is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as necessary for maintenance tasks.
- Must be responsible, alert, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
