Job Title: Strength and Conditioning Coach (SCC)
Location: Keesler Air Force Base, Biloxi, Mississippi
Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Strength and Conditioning Coach to support the 81st Training Wing's Human Performance Optimization Program at Keesler Air Force Base. The primary goal of this role is to enhance the physical performance and overall health of military personnel through specialized training and conditioning services.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 5:00 am - 7:30 am and 3:30 pm - 6:00 pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored strength and conditioning programs for military personnel.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate physical capabilities and progress.
- Provide guidance on injury prevention and rehabilitation strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure comprehensive care for service members.
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions and progress.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from NSCA, or equivalent certification from NCSF, NASM, ISSA, or ACSM.
- Minimum one year of work experience in the fitness and sports industry.
- CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
- Ability to develop and implement effective workout plans and track progress.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with military training and medical staff.
