Job Summary
The Assistant Superintendent plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operations on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety regulations. Responsibilities
- Assist with supervision of daily operations on the construction site to ensure adherence to project schedules and quality standards.
- Responsible for PunhList.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage subcontractors and labor crews, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Assist in construction estimating by evaluating project costs and resource requirements.
- Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam for document management and ProCore for project tracking.
- Ensure all work is performed according to OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Address any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction site operations, including pipeline installation and maintenance.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with construction estimating practices is preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
- Experience using Bluebeam and ProCore software is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
