What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Maintenance Assistant position at Brooks' Bottling Co.?
We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to work with our Maintenance Technicians to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and installation. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and assisting with building systems and ensuring facilities are tidy and functional. This position will report to the Plant Manager and will work with a team of technicians that install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment.
Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.
This is a M-F day shift (M-F 6am-2:30pm) position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls, etc.
- Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light assemblies
- Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations
- Take care to clean up after maintenance is performed
- Report to plant manager for issues
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- Hard working and physically able to perform necessary tasks
- Ability to lift (up to 40 lbs.), bend and stand for long periods of time
- Experience using hand and electrical tools
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to follow direction
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
