What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Transport Driver position at Brooks' Bottling Co.?
The Warehouse Transport Driver’s primary duty is to bring items back and forth from the production plant to the warehouse utilizing a van or flatbed truck. The driver is responsible for following the given batching supply list and bringing all necessary ingredients and components to the plant in a safe and timely manner.
M-F 7:30am-4pm
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gather and transport materials to the production plant at the direction of the batching supervisor and/or production supervisor
- Unload materials at the Plant Warehouse and store in the appropriate location
- Maintain storage compliance in regards to organic ingredients and allergens
- Return materials to the Warehouse and put away in the appropriate location
- Assist and support Warehouse Associate with their day-to-day activities as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and the ability to safely drive a flatbed truck or box truck (CDL not required)
- Ability to strap a load on the truck with ratchet straps for safe transport
- Forklift certification
- Able to operate pallet banding tools
- The ability to lift or move heavy objects (50 lbs or less)
- Knowledge of the proper First In First Out (FIFO) methods
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and dependable
- Good time management skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
