Description
Brooks Building Solutions is looking for a Building Automation Service Manager to lead and grow our service operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader who thrives on building and improving processes, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving team success. In this role, you’ll oversee service operations, manage financial performance, and support the development of your team. As our service group continues to expand, we need someone who can not only manage the current operation but also help shape its future.
Travel: Travel will be required approximately 30% of the time, with travel to other offices in Miami, Tallahassee, and Orlando.
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $100,000 - $130,000, based on the candidate's experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee service operations to ensure efficient processes and high customer satisfaction.
- Manage/communicate effectively with field staff to ensure timely completion of service requests.
- Ensure that all service requests and contracts are completed accurately, timely and are communicated with the customer
- Manage and understand preventative maintenance contracts.
- Evaluate service requests and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Estimate service repair and replacement projects, ensuring accurate pricing and scope.
- Collaborate with leadership in hiring, training, and evaluating Service Team.
- Implement departmental goals aligned with company financial and operational objectives.
- Foster long-term customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Monitor and resolve department issues and client complaints, improving service quality.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as invoicing, new orders, and inventory tracking.
- Make sure the team is safe and efficient.
- Implement strategies to optimize department performance and achieve organizational goals.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Experience in service or service management, ideally within building automation or related industries.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Financial acumen, including managing budgets and profitability.
- Proficiency in dispatch management, scheduling, and inventory control.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with internal teams and customers.
- Problem-solving ability with a customer-focused approach.
- Experience with service estimates, invoicing, and order processing is a plus.
- Helpful if has some experience troubleshooting diagnostics, and support for complex building automation and HVAC control systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
