Graphics Specialist

Summary:

We’re looking for a creative and detail-focused individual with an interest in technology and design to join our team as a Building Automation Graphics Specialist. In this role, you'll help create and maintain visual representations of building systems that enhance user experience and operational efficiency. No prior experience in building automation is needed—just a willingness to learn and a passion for design!

Compensation: $45,000–$65,000, based on experience

Responsibilities:

• 3D Modeling and Visualization
  • Create and maintain accurate 3D models of HVAC equipment and related components
  • Make sure models are up to date, on-brand, and presentation-ready for customers
• Graphical Floorplan Development
  • Design scalable 2D and 3D floorplans of commercial and industrial spaces
  • Tailor each floorplan to support HVAC monitoring and controls
• Graphical Interface Design
  • Work with our Project Engineers to build user-friendly interfaces for Building Automation Systems (BAS)
  • Help users see what their systems are doing in real-time
• Customer-Focused Customization
  • Listen to what our clients need and design custom graphics that match
  • Present your ideas, take feedback, and tweak designs until they’re just right
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Team up with engineers, project managers, and techs to get the details right
  • Make sure your graphics fit seamlessly into the overall system
• Quality Assurance & Troubleshooting
  • Test your graphics to make sure they’re spot-on and working smoothly
  • Fix issues and make updates during and after deployment
• Documentation & Standards Compliance
  • Keep records of all your work, revisions, and designs
  • Follow internal standards and industry best practices to keep everything consistent

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Course work or a degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field is a plus but not required.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with design software. Training will be provided for specific tools and systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Solid communication skills—both visual and verbal.
A collaborative spirit and a sense of humor are always a plus!
