Brooks Capital Management (BCM) is a single-family office that supports the Brooks family and its operating businesses. BCM delivers financial and support services including managing the family’s investment portfolio, property management, tax and accounting, estate planning, IT services, strategy development and planning, and capital markets support.
This position reports to the BCM CFO, is an integral part of the family office team, and provides counsel to the Investment Committee. The investment committee is primarily focused on ensuring the family and operating companies have adequate liquidity to execute near-term goals while maintaining a portfolio with a longer-range investment horizon positioned for growth. The Senior Investment Analyst will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, developing, analyzing, and executing new investment opportunities. This individual will also be responsible for managing the existing portfolio (capital calls, distributions, cash flow forecasting, performance reporting, maintaining relationships with current Investment Fund Managers) and facilitating Investment Committee meetings. The individual in this role must be highly organized, self-motivated, and represent BCM well in the marketplace. The ideal candidate will have a blend of accounting and investment experience totaling eight (8) years. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to work independently and continuously learn and grow as an investment professional.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Lead the management of the current investment portfolio, including tracking and executing capital calls, verifying receipt of distributions, and cash flow forecasting by investing entity. The portfolio consists of many investment manager relationships, as well as accounts held at Fidelity with publicly traded securities.
· Participate in fund/investment quarterly updates, annual meetings, relevant industry conferences, and investment presentations for fund performance and new investment opportunities.
· On-going investment performance reporting and analytics on the investment portfolio on a monthly and ad hoc basis. Enhance the investment team’s tools, processes, and analysis around due diligence, benchmarking, fund performance, market research, and underlying portfolio company metrics.
· Participate in the development of the overall strategy of the investment portfolio, ensuring adequate liquidity by investing entity, appropriate asset allocation, ensuring tax and estate planning implications are considered with each investment choice, and long-term growth is maintained as the North Star.
- Provide input and risk assessment around portfolio construction including the sizing and pacing of fund commitments, allocation, and sectors.
- Facilitate the Investment Committee meetings including reporting, analysis, and recommendations.
Education & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree
· Eight (8) years of accounting and investment experience

This position is full-time with the primary location of the BCM office in Downtown Holland. The role may require some (up to 20%) domestic travel.
