About us
Brooks Flooring Servivces, Inc. is a small Flooring Store in Taylors, SC.
You would be working in a warehouse that is NOT climate controlled.
Using the forklift, switching from pole (for roll goods) to forks (for pallets).
Some paperwork involved varifying the material matches the PO and labeling material properly so it can be easily identified.
Steel toed boots are required.
Duties:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials and products in the warehouse
- Inspect and verify the accuracy of incoming shipments
- Pick and pack orders for shipment to customers
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, and cranes
- Maintain inventory accuracy by performing regular cycle counts and stock checks
- Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and organization of products in the warehouse
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a distribution center or warehouse setting preferred
- Familiarity with AS400 or similar inventory management systems is a plus
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, and cranes
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on warehouse equipment
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and packing
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain inventory accuracy and proper product storage
Note: Warehouse Supervisor experience is not mentioned in the job description.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
