What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admissions Representative, Inpatient Hospitals, PRN position at Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital?
Responsible for participating in all aspects of the work in the department for as needed (PRN) evening and weekend shifts.
Hours: PRN, Flexible schedule that can accommodate weekday and weekends, 12pm - 8pm, 12pm - 4pm or 2pm - 8pm based on the needs of the business

Responsibilities
- Distributes pre-admission forms to each department.
- Signs in patient upon arrival.
- Obtains copies of patient’s insurance information.
- Verifies all patient data and corrects as needed.
- Calls secondary insurance companies for pre-certifications.
- Creates and files business office/admission charts.
- Responsible for the production and distribution of patient education manuals.
- Verifies compliance with regulatory standards.
- May perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school graduate with Business curriculum.
- Two to three years secretarial/office experience.
- Must be a team player and have personality skills.
