Your Job:
The Brooks Footwear Creation Process Management team acts as a center of excellence for project, process, systems and tools management in support of all teams within Footwear. This team spans multiple teams, time zones, skill sets and disciplines and provides the knowledge and resources necessary to help Footwear teams assess, optimize and standardize their processes – allowing them to focus on their roles and expertise – doing what they do best. Our global team seeks a skilled Sr. Project Manager to lead multiple projects and programs, own specific systems and tools and help develop and mentor a strong team.
The Senior Project and Process Manager has a formal foundation and demonstrated success in project, portfolio and program management as well as experience in process management and organizational change. This role also requires expertise in project management systems and tools as well as the ability to learn, implement and manage tools and systems required within Footwear. The ideal candidate for this role has is a quick learner, excels at communication and is an expert at comprehending technical information and assisting in developing creative ways to deliver information to relevant stakeholders. An ability to generate a deep understanding of our business objectives and product best practices are critical to success. In this role, you will lead multiple end-to-end projects, portfolios and programs and will be responsible for scope, time, resourcing and the overall success of each project. This role works with key subject matter experts and functional leaders, across the Brooks organization, to create and facilitate delivery of projects and initiatives.
The successful candidate will be a strong leader across the organization as well as having the ability to influence without authority and must become the role model for project/process management best practices.
\n- Work cross functionally as a representative of the Footwear Team to identify opportunities and lead, project, process and organizational change management for initiatives that span across the Brooks organization.
- Identify opportunities and takes ownership of responsibilities within Product Operations
- Lead teams within Product Operation and provide direction on project, process and organizational change management
- Model, analyze, prioritize and improve processes within product creation, and standardize processes where applicable
- Build capabilities within the Product Operations team to ensure seamless transition of project execution and results
- Collaborate with Footwear leadership to develop scope for projects, followed by project leadership through end-to-end delivery.
- Lead multiple projects, project portfolios and programs simultaneously representing Footwear and maintaining responsibililty for project, process and organizational change management.
- Lead, mentor and support Associate Project Managers and Projects Managers within the team.
- Develop and own full-scale project plans, risk assessments, change control and project status.
- Partner with the project sponsor to define and present the project business case for Project Portfolio (PPM) approval, including high level plan, success metrics, and resourcing plan.
- Maintain knowledge of internal and external best practices related to project and process management; provide recommendations to evolve our processes and lead implementation of new tools/methodologies into Brooks.
- Research, analyze and evaluate new and emerging technologies, practices and methodologies in support of project, portfolio and process management.
- Hold teams accountable for deliverables by positively influencing within Footwear.
- May manage up to 1 direct report - including goal setting, performance review, hiring decisions, team culture, etc. and support their career development to ensure job satisfaction, retention and to identify and develop bench strength.
- Occasional International travel may be required
- Bachelor’s degree and 7 year of related project and/ or program management experience, ideally in a product development or consulting environment
- Minimum of 4 years of experience leading project teams
- Project Management certifications (PMP, etc.) desired
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management standards (PMBOK) and experience with portfolio and project management software
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement initiative and/or projects
- Demonstrated experience in organizational change management activities within initiatives and/or projects
- Demonstrated experience working in a cross-functional environment
- Demonstrated experience working with Sr. leadership and leadership teams
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and working with leadership teams to ensure project goals are met
- Collaborative leadership skills
- Being self-driven, eager to learn and goal-oriented with strong time-management skills
- Exceptional work ethic; being adaptable to ever-changing demands, with the ability to refocus and develop options for quick changes in projects
- Experience with Microsoft Office required
- Experience in using analytical methods to improve processes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must
- Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust resulting in effective working relationships across the company

Compensation: The pay range for this position, based out of the Brooks Seattle HQ, is $114,945 - 172,469 per year. Base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
