Job Description
Summary:
Patient Access Technician provides the necessary level of service to improve revenue cycle where it starts in order to achieve increased revenue and enhance customer satisfaction. Responsible to collect personal, medical and financial data from the patient or family and starts the record that will accompany the patient through the medical system. Actively participates in exemplary customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
Education And Credentials
Responsibilities:
High School graduate required. Associate degree in a health care related field preferred. CRCR certification or Medical certification in health care related field preferred.
Experience
Other information:
1-2 years in a Medical office setting; Customer Service Skills;Typing and data entry. 2-5 years of experience in Patient Financial services preferred with Bilingual experience,Experience in collections and Experience in Computer applications: Meditech, PICIS
