Job Summary

Receives, stores, and distributes materials, tools, equipment, and products within assigned warehouse facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Consolidates products and totes through an assembly line.
  • Ensures orders are tagged with the proper location and pallets are securely wrapped.
  • Stacks product on pallets in accordance with Company procedures. Stages pallets onto loading dock or outbound trailers.
  • Ensures that orders pulled are accurate through audits; reports discrepancies and damages.
  • Assists with daily housekeeping, maintenance, and other equipment material handling in the warehouse.
  • Complies with established local, state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Performs other warehouse duties as needed.

  • Basic knowledge of the warehouse communications system.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret information.
  • Ability to learn new technology systems, methods and processes.
  • Ability to reason, form concepts and recognize and solve problems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage time.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and productivity.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to use sharp objects such as knives and box cutters.
  • Ability to operate a forklift or pallet jack.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Six months or more years of related experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 18 years of age required.
  • Food Handler certification required.
  • Typically involves on the job training.

Physical Demands

  • Continuously required to talk and hear.
  • Continuously required to bend, kneel or squat.
  • Continuously required to stand, walk, reach, touch, handle, or feel.
  • Continuously required to use close vision, distance vision, depth perception or the ability to focus
  • Frequently required to push, pull, maneuver or lift objects up to 40, 75, or 100 lbs.
  • Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop or crawl.
  • Occasionally required to use fine finger movements (ex. sorting and typing).

Work Context and Environment

  • Work is generally performed in a warehouse setting.
  • Continuously exposed to industrial odors, fumes and dust.
  • Frequently exposed to heights and confined spaces.
  • Frequently exposed to cleaning agents.
  • Frequently exposed to extreme temperatures (non-weather) varying between -20 degrees to 100 degrees.
  • Occasionally exposed to wet, slippery or damp conditions.
  • Occasionally exposed to outside temperatures and weather.
  • Noise level varies.
