Job Summary
Works to fulfill staffing needs for all retail and retail support. Participates in recruiting strategies including phone screens, interviews, and recommendations of prospective partners for employment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Determines applicant requirements by reviewing the job description and role requirements.
- Screens resumes and conduct initial interviews with candidates to assess their qualifications and skill sets.
- Sources potential candidates through internal job postings, job boards, social media, and other recruitment tools.
- Develops and maintains a pipeline for current roles and future hiring needs.
- Generates candidate interest through creative marketing and social media messaging.
- Facilitates strategic communication and follow-through with internal clients and candidates, while establishing and maintaining effective relationships and promoting Company recruitment brand and opportunities.
- Conducts interview training for internal partners and collaborates with the Training & Development team to educate internal partners on recruiting through social media.
- Builds partnerships, and assists leaders and supervisors by understanding hiring needs, operational goals, and requirements.
- Supports the effective creation and implementation of a College Relations program and processes within the space of college recruitment.
- Assists with job fairs BGC attends and attracts the talent for those events.
- Learns key areas of sourcing techniques and strategies to include professional networks, social networks, key associations, and industry specific directories.
- Partners with third-party recruiters and staffing agencies as necessary to source candidates for challenging roles.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Intermediate knowledge of recruiting social media outlets and job board sites.Intermediate knowledge of state and federal employment laws.Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Ability to learn on-line hiring practices, behavioral-based interview and assessment techniques, tracking processes for applicants and open positions, as well as recruiting metrics.Ability to maintain effective working relationships with partners, candidates, and recruiting companies.Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate recruiting activities.Ability to work independently with limited supervision.Ability to make presentations to small and large crowds.Ability to interact with cross-functional members of management and potential candidates.Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.Ability to learn new technology systems, methods, and processes.Ability to research information, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.Ability to travel to off-site and out-of-town locations with overnight stays.Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Associate’s Degree in related field and one or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and / or higher education preferred.One to two years of proven work experience as a direct or indirect recruiter preferred.Minimum of 21 years of age required.Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy.Must be able to pass DMV background check.Bilingual English / Spanish preferred but not required.Physical Demands
