We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Seasonal Pool Manager to oversee pool operations and staff during the summer season.
Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Pool Manager with a strong background in lifeguarding and supervision to oversee the day-to-day management of our pool facilities. This role is key in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for our members while ensuring operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of lifeguarding experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, and possess current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and AED.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of lifeguards and pool attendants, ensuring excellent guest service and safety.
- Ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards, including regular pool inspections, water quality checks, and equipment maintenance.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations, promoting a safe and enjoyable environment for all members and guests.
- Handle any emergency situations promptly and appropriately, following established protocols.
- Manage staffing schedules, ensuring proper coverage during peak hours and events.
- Provide leadership and training to staff, ensuring all team members are knowledgeable about safety procedures and customer service standards.
- Assist with member inquiries, address complaints, and ensure a positive experience.
- Oversee pool-related events and programs as needed, including swim lessons, swim team and recreational activities.
Qualifications:
- Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and AED (required).
- 5 years of lifeguarding experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- In-depth knowledge of pool operations, safety protocols, and water treatment standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Previous experience working at a private country club or luxury facility is a plus.
