Our healthcare facility is looking for a Unit Manager to join our team. At our long-term residence, the Unit Manager helps to fulfill the care requirements of our Residents. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing, the successful candidate will work within their entire scope of practice. The Unit Manager will be fully accountable for ensuring that the utmost in competent care and safety is consistently delivered to all residents. This opportunity awaits a motivated and ambitious professional with Long Term experience.

The position is scheduled Monday through Friday!
Responsibilities for the LPN Unit Manager Include :
- Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate resident care.
- Assess signs and symptoms indicating changes in the patient’s condition.
- Documents the patient’s plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions.
- Performs interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and the hospital policies and patient care outcome standard.
- Revises the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective / ineffective nursing interventions.
- Uses clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs of an assigned unit / floor including establishing priorities.
- On call rotation.
