Administrative and IT Support Specialist (CASTLE ROCK, COLORADO)
Brookside Inn, a privately owned skilled nursing facility in Castle Rock, CO is looking for an experienced full-time Administrative and IT Support Specialist to join our team of health care professionals.
Rate of Pay

$16.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience

Responsibilities
-
Manage the facility’s computer inventory, including hardware and software, and maintain accurate records.

Assist with software and hardware updates and troubleshooting basic IT issues.

Coordinate requests for IT needs to an outside IT company for assistance, serving as the primary point of contact.

Assist with employee training on Microsoft 365 applications, creating training materials and providing support.

Perform clerical support in an efficient manner following the current federal, state, and local standards guidelines and regulations that govern long-term care and skilled nursing facilities.

Assist the business office with managing accounts payable.

Route all deliveries to appropriate departments.

Prepare and submit accurate, complete reports on a timely basis as required.

Maintain and distribute accurate resident financial records as required.

Maintain accurate resident accounts for all insurances including Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, Hospice, Private pay, etc.

Manage and maintain the administrative calendar, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.

Assist in tracking and ensuring timely completion of administrative tasks and projects.

Assist with administrative duties as directed

Qualifications
-
Highschool diploma required
-
Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred

Must have experience in bookkeeping and/or billing
-
Must have experience in a clerical position with knowledge of basic IT systems and computers

Must have extensive experience navigating Microsoft Office 365 platform

Must have customer service experience
-
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English

Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, staff, and the general public
-
Must be knowledgeable of computer systems, system applications, and other office equipment.

Most be able to follow oral and written instructions.

Must be willing to undergo a criminal background check
