Administrative Assistant (CASTLE ROCK, COLORADO)
Brookside Inn, a privately owned skilled nursing facility in Castle Rock, CO is looking for an experienced full-time Administrative Assistant to join our team of health care professionals.
Rate of Pay

$16.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience

Qualifications

Highschool diploma required
-
Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred

Must have experience in bookkeeping and/or billing

Must have experience in a clerical position with knowledge of basic IT systems and computers

Must have customer service experience

Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English

Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, staff, and the general public

Must be knowledgeable of computer systems, system applications, and other office equipment.

Most be able to follow oral and written instructions.

Must be willing to undergo a criminal background check
Responsibilities
- Perform clerical support in an efficient manner following the current federal, state, and local standards guidelines and regulations that govern long-term care and skilled nursing facilities.

Assist with ordering medical supplies for the facility and manage inventory.

Assist the business office with managing accounts payable.

Manage the facility’s computer inventory and make changes as needed. Assist with updating computers as needed.

Coordinate requests for IT needs to outside IT company for assistance as needed.

Route all deliveries to appropriate departments.

Prepare and submit accurate, complete reports on a timely basis as required.

Maintain and distribute accurate resident financial records as required.

Maintain accurate resident accounts for all insurances including Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, Hospice, Private pay, etc.

Assist with administrative duties as directed

Attention to detail.

Ability to follow instructions.
