Thursday, Friday, Sunday
Brookside Inn, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Castle Rock, is seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic and dependable full-time Restorative CNA to join our team of qualified individuals. We are looking for professionals who are committed to the highest standards of integrity, quality care, and respect for our residents.

Qualifications

Current, unencumbered, State of Colorado Certified Nurse Aide license

Minimum one year clinical, bedside experience as a Certified Nurse Aid

Experience working as a restorative C.N.A (Preferred)

Able to work as a member of a team

Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English

Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, staff, and the general public

Most be able to follow oral and written instructions.

Must be willing to undergo a criminal background check

Responsibilities

Provide restorative programs and duties assigned by the program director according to the care plan.

Participate in restorative dining program.

Know and perform the functions, responsibilities, and expectations of the C.N.A position and Restorative C.N.A position.

Assumes responsibility for the safety of all residents under your supervision, identifies safety hazards and emergencies, reports incidents or unusual problems, initiates corrective action as necessary and/or seeks assistance of licensed nurse.

Identifies resident concerns, problems, or changes in condition and reports them timely to the nurse.

Provides dignified, resident-directed ADL assistance that includes oral care, personal grooming, dressing, toileting/incontinence care, meal/fluid assistance, transportation needs, and safe transfers following the residents’ plan of care as stipulated in the care plan.

Performs therapy-delegated tasks under the direction and supervision of Therapy.

Documents the care provided to residents utilizing correct coding that accurately reflects the level of care provided.

Consistently follows Residents’ Rights policies and confidentiality standards.

Performs other duties as assigned.
