Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician Coordinator. This role combines administrative responsibilities with direct support in coordinating and overseeing behavioral services. This individual will be responsible for managing the day-to-day office functions while also working closely with a team of behavior technicians to ensure the efficient delivery of behavioral interventions. The role requires a blend of organizational skills, leadership, and a working knowledge of behavior analysis principles.
Key Responsibilities: Behavior Technician Coordination:
- Scheduling & Staffing: Manage the scheduling of behavior technicians, ensuring that all client sessions are properly staffed and coordinated.
- Training & Onboarding: Oversee the training and onboarding process for new behavior technicians, ensuring they are familiar with company policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Support & Supervision: Provide guidance and support to behavior technicians in the field, including answering questions, troubleshooting challenges, and ensuring adherence to treatment plans.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of services delivered by behavior technicians, ensuring that protocols and procedures are followed accurately and that progress is consistently documented.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the clinical team, including behavior analysts, to ensure seamless delivery of services and to assist in making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Documentation: Assist in tracking client progress, session notes, and other documentation related to behavioral interventions. Ensure records are accurate and up to date.
Office Management:
- General Administrative Support: Handle daily administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing emails, and greeting clients. Serve as the main point of contact for clients, staff, and visitors.
- Billing & Insurance Coordination: Assist in billing, insurance verification, and reimbursement processing for behavioral services. Ensure that all billing codes are accurate and submitted timely.
- Office Organization & Supplies: Maintain office organization and order supplies as needed. Ensure a clean and efficient work environment.
- Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate appointments for clients and staff, including rescheduling as necessary. Maintain accurate calendars and appointment logs.
- Client Communication: Communicate with clients regarding appointment reminders, cancellations, or any other administrative matters. Ensure clients have the information they need regarding their services.
- Record Keeping: Manage and maintain confidential client files and documentation in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, social work, business administration) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical or administrative role, ideally in a behavioral health setting.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with behavior analysis principles (e.g., ABA, behavior management techniques) is highly desirable. Strong understanding of office management practices and procedures.
