Qualifications:
- Prior tax credit property leasing experience required
- High school diploma or GED
- Professional appearance and attire suitable for an office environment
- Positive outlook, problem-solver, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to compose clear, grammatically correct, and professional communication
- Experience with Entrata is a plus
- Familiarity with social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram
- Ability to walk the property frequently, climb stairs, and occasionally lift/move up to 25 lbs
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and a team player
- Weekend availability (Saturdays required)
Responsibilities:
- Complete lease agreements and collect rental deposits
- Ensure model or target apartments are ready for tours
- Maintain resident and property files in compliance with tax credit requirements
- Have a thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications, policies, rental rates, and amenities
- Utilize effective telephone and leasing techniques
- Screen applicants and follow tax credit eligibility and documentation processes
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Conduct daily property inspections to ensure all vacant apartments are ready for tours
- Establish and maintain relationships with local businesses for marketing and leasing materials
- Respond to resident requests or complaints promptly, efficiently, and courteously
- Operate within OSHA and EPA standards and follow all Fair Housing regulations
