Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 years prior multifamily maintenance experience required.
- Strong HVAC experience required. EPA certification (Type II or Universal) required.
- Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and other building systems. Swimming pool maintenance experience and CPO a plus.
- Availability for after-hours calls.
- Basic tools and reliable transportation required.
- Effective communication skills with residents, employees, and vendors.
- Ability to work outdoors and walk the property regularly in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Oversight and maintenance of all buildings, grounds, and amenities.
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace, adhering to safety standards.
- Complete service requests and prepare units for new residents.
- Prompt response to repair requests, including after-hours emergencies.
- Assist in hiring, training, and managing service, custodial, or grounds personnel.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and guests.
- Assist in inventory management and adhere to maintenance budget.
- Schedule and supervise in-house and vendor work.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA standards, and Fair Housing regulations.
