About this Role:
As a Project Manager overseeing AV Infrastructure for Northwestern Mutual’s new downtown Tower, you are responsible for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of cutting-edge audiovisual systems. This role involves coordinating with architects, contractors, and technology vendors to ensure seamless integration of AV solutions, including conference room systems, digital signage, and collaboration tools. You will manage budgets, timelines, and stakeholder expectations while ensuring all AV installations align with the company’s technological and operational standards. Your expertise in AV engineering, project management methodologies, and enterprise-level AV solutions ensures the new Tower is equipped with state-of-the-art communication and collaboration capabilities, supporting Northwestern Mutual’s long-term business needs.
Skills Needed:
- PMP certified or of 5-7 years of equivalent professional experience
- AV Infrastructure (not just front of the house AV support) experience
- Self-starter with the fortitude to work through ambiguity
- Excellent communicator with advanced story-telling skills to provide contextual status reports and facilitate meetings/collaboration through universal understanding across team members and stakeholders.
- Vendor management: experience handling vendor relationships and holding them accountable for delivering
- Advanced ability to manage risks and issues by driving teams to identify solutions and understanding when to escalate
- Excellent multi-tasking skills to manage several workstreams simultaneously with a calm demeanor
