Cabling Technician

6-8 Week Contract
Our Fortune 50 Technology Customer is building a team to support the deployment of one of their new data center locations. This team will support the prep, cabling, and rack & stack for their next wave of deployments. This is an initial 6-7 week contract with great opportunity for future support & deployments with successful completion of the project.
Requirements:
- 6 years of data center experience, specifically cabling within data centers
- Strong communication & reliability
- Electrical background
- Cabling Experience Including:
- Cable Labeling, Cleaning, Scoping & Testing
- Fiberoptic Cables – AOC
- LC Fiber Connectors
- Cat6 Cabling
- Data Center Power Cabling
- MTP Cables
- Cable testing including VFL Testing
- Data Center operations experience
Responsibilities:
- Drive execution of data center services
- Oversee team of technicians to ensure safety is the primary value driving all work daily
- Train and manage technician teams
- Advise on and document processes daily
- Participate in cabling, build, rack & stack activities
