Data Analyst
12-Month Rolling Contract
Jacksonville, Florida
Brooksource is looking for a Data Analyst to join our Med Device & Pharmaceutical client’s team supporting their Commercial Business team’s functions by running various analysis, reporting functions, and master data management clean up. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data analysis, troubleshooting, and data quality management, with a focus on SQL, Excel, Tableau and modern data tools.
This individual works closely with BI and IT associates to advance data, reporting and analytic tools/capabilities ensuring timely analysis and maximum efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design, test, and document processes, SQL queries, and stored procedures.
- Validate and report data using SQL, Excel, Tableau, pulling from AWS Redshift.
- Work with Databricks, Amazon S3 (create/read files), and tools like Dataiku.
- Analyze results, own the creation and maintenance of dashboard views, identify trends/insights, and connect with meaningful business partners.
- Support other key initiatives as they occur within the organization.
- Communicate with stakeholders to address gaps in master data and ensure data quality.
- Perform data collection, analysis, validation, and reporting.
- Create and publish regularly scheduled and ad-hoc reports.
- Document reporting requirements and processes and validating data components as required.
Qualifications:
- Strong SQL and Excel skills (baseline requirement).
- Proficiency in Tableau and data visualization.
- Experience with Python or R. (Nice to have)
- Familiarity with AWS Redshift, Databricks, Amazon S3, and Dataiku/Alteryx. (Nice to have)
- Broad understanding of data architecture and master data management.
- Excellent oral and written communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience conducting formal and ad-hoc presentations to multi-functional partners
