Pay Rate: $70-$75 /hr. on W2 with benefits

Role Overview:

The EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) project team at one of our largest Fortune 100 Energy clients is seeking a Data Migration Lead. The EAM project is a multi-faceted project that is replacing our client s Asset Management tool with IFS. The project has numerous products with data that needs to be migrated from the legacy asset management tool to the new IFS tool. The Data Migration Lead will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing data migration strategies for multiple products within the EAM project. This role ensures a seamless, efficient, and accurate transfer of enterprise data from AS8 to IFS, utilizing Azure Data Factory as the primary data integration tool. Qualifications & Skills:

• 5 years of experience in data migration and ETL development.
• Expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
• Proficiency in SQL, cloud data platforms, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Understanding of data migration patterns.
• Strong understanding of data governance, cleansing, and validation methodologies.
• Ability to design data models, mappings, and transformation logic for structured and unstructured data.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience in handling large-scale data migrations.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with enterprise asset management (EAM) tools, such as IFS, SAP, or Oracle, is a plus!
• Prior experience with enterprise system migrations in utilities, energy, or large-scale ERP projects is a plus!
• Knowledge of data security, compliance, and regulatory standards is a plus!
• Familiarity with test automation and regression testing in data migration projects is a plus!

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Lead the end-to-end data migration strategy, ensuring a smooth transition from AS8 to IFS.
• Design and implement data migration pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Define and enforce data governance, standardization, and validation frameworks.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product teams, and test automation teams to ensure data integrity and alignment with system configurations.
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, redundancies, and transformation challenges.
• Ensure compliance with data security and regulatory requirements throughout migration.
• Support ongoing data optimization and performance enhancements post-migration.
• Provide leadership in the development of best practices for enterprise data migration.
