Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Data Scientist to join our team in Cleveland, OH. As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in our simulation projects, partnering closely with our statistical engineering group to streamline operations and optimize processes across various stages, from grind to filling lines.
- Responsibilities and Duties :
- Collaborate with the statistical engineering group to develop and enhance simulation models for various stages of production, including grind tanks, raw materials processing, and filling lines.
- Evaluate and identify bottlenecks, product needs, and opportunities for process optimization using simulation techniques.
- Translate real-world scenarios and "what-if" analyses into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Work closely with engineers in the field to understand project requirements and success criteria.
- Develop and implement simulation applications to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Continuously monitor and analyze simulation results, providing recommendations for process improvements.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Required Skills and Qualifications :
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and modeling.
- Strong foundation in basic statistics.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Preferred Skills and Qualifications :
- Experience in software development, particularly in the context of simulation applications.
- Familiarity with simulation software and techniques.
