Data Center Technician
Fayetteville, GA
6-8 Week Contract
Our Fortune 50 Technology Customer is building a team to support the deployment of one of their new data center locations. This team will support the prep, cabling, and rack & stack for their next wave of deployments. This is an initial 6-7 week contract with great opportunity for future support & deployments with successful completion of the project.
Requirements:
- 3 years of data center experience
- Strong communication & reliability
- Data Center Experience Includes:
- Cable Labeling, Cleaning, Scoping & Testing
- Rack, Stack & Patch
- Ideally MoR (middle of row) builds – network equipment installs in data centers
- Grounding cables
- Pre- & Post-cabling for racks
- Willingness to move large equipment
- Nice-to-have – experience with AOC & Fiberoptics
Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety, professionalism and attention to detail are top values
- Cleaning, labeling, testing and install of cables
- Assembly of racks
- Stack of MoR (networking) devices
- Lay out and secure grounding cables
- Complete pre-cabling from MoR to PRD Racks
