Are you a driven engineer with a passion for powering communities? We’re looking for a Distribution Engineer to support the planning, design, and delivery of electric distribution systems. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is excited to contribute to sustainable and reliable energy solutions.
🔧 What You’ll Do:
- Design and maintain electric distribution systems that meet regulatory and company standards
- Use ArcFM GIS Mapping tools (or similar) to develop and analyze network models
- Support capital improvement and maintenance projects from concept to completion
- Partner with field teams, project managers, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution
- Apply project management best practices to keep everything on time and on budget
- Translate complex technical information into clear, actionable communication
- Conduct site visits and generate reports, cost estimates, and documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, and OneNote
🎓 What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred)
- Experience in electric distribution design or utility operations (preferred)
- Strong skills in ArcFM GIS or similar mapping tools
- Project management experience (PMP certification is a plus!)
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
🌟 Bonus Points For:
- Familiarity with utility standards and regulatory compliance
- Experience using Outage Management Systems (OMS) or Distribution Management Systems (DMS)
- Knowledge of CAD or other design platforms
