Job Description:
As a Test Engineer II - Electrical, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronic test systems for pacemakers and defibrillators. This role will involve working with technical cross-functional teams to develop and support custom instrumentation and test systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop test system concepts, requirements, and specifications using hardware engineering best practices and industry standards.
- Implement electronic instrumentation and test systems based on requirements and specifications.
- Integrate electronic instrumentation and subsystems into larger test systems that may include software components and medical devices.
- Collaborate with technical cross-functional teams to develop and support custom instrumentation and test systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair PCB assemblies and systems.
Requirements:
- 2 years of work experience in Electrical Engineering with a BS degree.
- Experience designing and creating final products.
- Schematic capture and PCB fabrication/assembly experience.
- Knowledge and experience in low power analog design techniques.
- Strong lab skills and hands-on experience with standard electrical test equipment.
- Integration of electronic and software systems experience, including problem resolution.
- Experience writing documents, reports, memos, and change requests.
