Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and optimize embedded software for the PET Scanner’s data acquisition subsystem.
- Write efficient, reliable, and maintainable code in C/C for Linux or Unix-based operating systems.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and system architects, to enhance software reliability and performance.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve real-time software issues in embedded systems.
- Participate in software verification and validation processes to ensure compliance with healthcare and industry standards.
- Optimize system performance to improve data acquisition accuracy and efficiency.
- Contribute to system architecture discussions and provide insights for software improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in C/C with experience in embedded software development.
- Proficiency in Linux OS (Unix experience is also acceptable).
- Experience working with real-time or high-reliability embedded systems.
- Familiarity with software development processes, including version control (Git) and debugging tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Prior experience in medical device software development or data acquisition systems is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with low-level programming, including device drivers and firmware development.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical devices (e.g., FDA, IEC 62304).
- Familiarity with network protocols and data communication in embedded systems.
