Junior Telecomm Engineer
Newark, DE, or Philadelphia, PA
12-month Contract-to-Hire
As a Junior Telecom Engineer, you would be a part of our client’s, UComm Engineering Org, and support various hardware and design engineering projects. You would work alongside multiple internal engineering teams, project managers, and business stakeholders to assist with project and financial planning. We seek to hire a candidate with an engineering background and interested in gaining experience with finance and project management.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers with project planning, cost estimates, and financials.
- Review project documentation to ensure the accuracy of materials needed, hours required, and financial cost
- Communicate with cross-functional teams within the business stakeholders, engineering, and IT teams
- Coordinate with various stakeholders during long-range planning for project forecasting
- Provide supplemental support to senior engineers and their teams with multiple tasks and engineering projects when needed
- Monitor PowerBI dashboards
- Utilized Python/SQL for data analysis and visualization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent degree
- Fundamental knowledge of network and radio frequency concepts and tools
- Excellent analytical, conceptual, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge or experience working with Power BI, Python/SQL is a plus
- Knowledge of financial planning and reporting is a plus
