We are seeking a highly skilled QA Lead to join a Fortune 50 Broadcast Media & Entertainment leader based in New York, New York. As the QA Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing software testing and validation, managing testing environments, and ensuring seamless patch and release management processes. In this role, you will have the opportunity to join a fast-paced, dynamic team, supporting the organization’s enterprise applications and infrastructure.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field

· 4-8 years of experience in software testing, QA management, or IT Operations with a focus on testing and validation

· Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Junit, PyTest), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab), and patch management tools (e.g., SCCM, WSUS)

· Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage timelines and expectations

· Proficiency in scripting languages (Powershell, Python, Bash) to automate test cases and patch validation

· Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, Product, engineering and IT operations

Responsibilities:

· Test Planning and Execution: Lead and manage software testing efforts, including functional, regression, and performance testing. Ensure comprehensive test coverage across all product areas.

· Test Environment Setup: Oversee the setup of test environments, including installing software and configuring hardware models to replicate the enterprise environment. Ensure environments are correctly maintained and ready for testing.

· Automation and Scripting: Support the automation of testing tasks, including patch validation and regression testing. Use scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) to automate test cases and improve testing efficiency.

· Test Reporting: Monitor and report on the progress of testing activities. Document test results, defects, and remediation steps, ensuring all issues are properly tracked and communicated to stakeholders.
