Power BI Data Analyst/Developer
Location: Hybrid in Indianapolis, IN - Keystone at the Crossing area (3 days/week in office)
6-month contract with strong potential for extension or full-time hire
Brooksource is searching for a Power BI-focused Data Analyst/Developer to join our enterprise underground utility locating services client in Indianapolis, IN. The successful candidate will have 5 years of professional Data Analysis and Development experience, with a background including SQL querying and data extraction within Snowflake.
With over 15 years of expertise, our client ensures the safety and efficiency of excavation projects by accurately identifying and marking underground utilities. Trusted by utility companies, construction firms, and government agencies, they use cutting-edge technology and highly trained professionals to deliver reliable results.
This Data Analyst/Developer will join a new initiative focused on identifying operational inefficiencies through a data-focused approach. In this role, you will work with stakeholders and leaders across the organization, extract data from Snowflake, create dashboards and reports with PowerBI and run SQL queries to identify where the organization can become more efficient and save costs.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, and/or Developer
- Significant experience with Power BI dashboarding, reporting and visualization
- Significant expertise in advanced SQL querying
- Data Extraction experience within Snowflake
- Ideally, experience with Microsoft Azure Data Factory
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate technical information with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike
- A go-getter mentality and ability to establish themselves quickly in a new enterprise environment with limited supervision
- A professional demeanor and ability to present analysis/findings with all levels of company leadership.
