- Responsibilities :
- Assist in coordinating third-party engineering contracting services from the scope definition phase to the close-out document phase, ensuring minimal disruption to existing processes.
- Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports and findings through data collection, analysis, and trend summarization.
- Prioritize safety, review accident / incident reports, and participate in investigations as necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and ensure accessibility for reference.
- Guarantee technical support for the project management group, from the feasibility study phase to the coordination of final acceptance tests, ensuring technical quality and accurate documentation after changes.
- Establish minimum technical requirements for equipment and system purchases or modifications, maintaining compliance with national, international, or corporate standards and incorporating emerging technologies when necessary.
- Lead, support, participate in, and contribute to improvement programs and project groups.
- Assist management in optimizing equipment quality, cost, availability, and performance.
- Coordinate and supervise personnel as required.
- Minimum Requirements :
- Degree / Certification Required : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Language / Proficiency Level : English / Advanced.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Providing technical support and consultancy to the management structure in the electrical and automation disciplines.
- Knowledge of power systems, NEC, NFPA 70E, design, and start-up of AC drive systems, design and programming of PLC and HMI-based control systems, and reviewing and developing P&IDs.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint).
- Desired Requirements :
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy industrial settings.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification is preferred.
- Supporting management in optimizing equipment quality, cost, availability, and performance.
- Ability to anticipate and adopt innovations in business-building digital and technology applications.
- Proven ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
- Proficiency in efficient processes with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, including working effectively with professionals, operations personnel, and construction trades.
