Project Manager (Mid-Senior level)

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee large-scale engineering and construction projects for our client, a leading utility company. This role will focus on managing overhead, underground, and civil projects while ensuring successful design, construction, and vendor coordination for infrastructure buildouts and fiber installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate engineering design work in partnership with EOC partners and internal teams.
- Communicate project status regularly to stakeholders, ensuring alignment on progress, challenges, and timelines.
- Manage vendor coordination for fiber buildout and oversee financial aspects of the projects.
- Support infrastructure buildouts, including the installation of fiber and civil works.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project goals are met and projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Leverage strong business acumen to address challenges, optimize costs, and enhance project outcomes.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of project management experience in engineering and construction, with a strong focus on utilities and electrical systems.
- Proven construction experience with overhead, underground, and civil projects.
- Background in electrical utilities, with expertise in transmission and distribution systems preferred.
- Telco experience for fiber installation is a strong plus.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex environments effectively.
