Project Manager
6-12 Month Contract
Onsite in Orlando (University of Central Florida Campuses)
Overall Objectives: Manages highly complex enterprise-wide projects, coordinating the efforts of multiple project teams. Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project. Manages operational data collection and executive reporting to project executives, and sponsors. Develops strategic presentations and reports as needed and required. Monitors projects from initiation through implementation to ensure successful delivery of programs, products and/or services within defined timeline, budget, scope, and quality.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists in identifying project objectives and goals: Works with project executives and sponsors to clearly define project goals, milestones and deliverables.
- Develop and implement project plans and key milestones: Create detailed project plans that include timelines, milestones, and resources required.
- Coordinate with project team members: Work closely with workstreams, administrative staff, SMEs, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Oversee the project budget: Manage financial resources to ensure cost-effective delivery of projects.
- Monitor project progress: Track the project's progress and make necessary adjustments to keep it on track, maintaining appropriate communication with project executives, and all project committees and stakeholders. Develops strategic presentations and reports as needed and required.
- Ensure compliance: Make sure the project adheres to relevant laws, regulations, polices, and institutional standards.
- Organize and lead meetings: Facilitate project and sprint meetings to ensure effective communication among team members. Prepare appropriate documentation, agendas, memos, reports, presentations, and
- Track and report outcomes: Continually monitor and evaluate the project's progress, successes, and, risks, and report on outcomes.
- Develop relationships with all project stakeholders, committee members, SMEs, and partners: Build and maintain effective communications and relationships with all project stakeholders.
- Resolve issues: Assist in addressing Address any conflicts or problems that arise during the project.
