Senior Program Manager / PMO Lead

Hybrid in Indianapolis, IN (3 Days / Week)

Our retail client is initiating a Finance Transformation program focused on delivering a common Finance system. This will be based on standardized processes, a single chart of accounts. This program of work is expected to run over 18 to 24 months.
The primary objective of this role is to setup and manage the PMO for the program. Working in co-operation with the PMO, setting out the methodology, planning approach, reporting, stage gate process, change control and steering committee governance. Setting the standards and processes within the PMO to manage the program effectively.
Core outputs for this role will be :
- Delivering and maintaining an integrated plan, identifying dependencies and resourcing constraints.
- Managing the status reporting cycle and inputs for stage gate and steering governance meetings
- Identification and management of risks and issues.
- Managing Change Control Process.
- Adoption / use of planning tools.
- Coordinating and overseeing the development of project plans in conjunction with Program Managers / PM’s while ensuring clarity and practicality on change plans for the business to ensure the change lands and sticks.
- Adopting the program governance framework as well as setup and management of RAID logs and program related templates that support the deliverables and expectations of the projects.
- Ensure plans are developed in an integrated basis, taking account of cross functional requirements e.g. Tax, Controls, Data, Process etc.
